Jay Sean and Sonu Nigam met when Jay was on tour in India last summer and now the duo into an entirely new track, titled ‘The One’
During his Bacardi / Desi Hits Tour sponsored, Jay Sean also appeared on India’s ‘XFactor‘, where both Jay and only then performed alongside Sonu Nigam.
It was during that meeting that the two decided to collaborate on a song. Jay had already written ‘The One’, but felt Sonu some elements in his own style interperate again.
Jay Sean’s co-manager, Jeremy Skaller spoke exclusively to DH, “Jay Sean told me years ago that I would absolutely love the voice of Sonu. He was right. Sonu is a world class singer. His tone and range are downright amazing. We all know what Jay Sean is able to use the pen and of course as a singer, but the combination of two such phenomenal talent was really something special to work with. “
